Learning Theories and Mindmeister

Hello everyone, today we will take a look at the concept of mindmaps, one of the many mind mapping tools avaialable to you and as a demonstration of the tool a look at the history of learning theories.

To begin with; mindmaps are diagrams that visually organize information according to their connections, hiearchies and categories. It is a great way of visualizing the whole-part relationship in any topic. There are many tools available in the online environment that makes creating mindmaps much easier such as Miro, Coggle, Mindomo and Mindmeister. Among these, I like mindmeister especially more because it is an online tool that accepts google access which means I can use it with all other google services. On top of that, it looks super clean and it is increadibly easy to use. Creating bubbles, labeling them, pulling nodes out of them, branching into many nodes and making connections is very easy.

You can see an example of Mindmeister in action here where I have created a map showing the various major streams of learning theories over the course of history and I have taken this information from https://www.mybrainisopen.net/learning-theories-timeline if you want to read deeper into that topic. Enjoy!
