Kahoot is a really fun quizzing platform fit for classroom use. It is an excellent system with which you can test your students' knowledge in an interactive and entertaining manner. Here's how it works.

First, you need to set up a test related to the teaching material on the Kahoot platform. Then you need to start the quiz and share the automatically generated code with your students. The student need to use their own devices and join the session. It is important to have the test reflected through a projector onto the board so that student can see the questions and options. On their devices they will be presented with 4 options represented by 4 colours and 4 shapes. The point system awards correctness and speediness. So the fastest students who answers the most amount of questions will get the most points

At the end of the activity, the system automatically presents honorable mentions, the top 3 places and puts them on a podium. Make sure to get them applauded as the names come up on the screen. You may even consider giving a small award to the winner. Check it out and consider using it in your own classes!
